Thanks, Deb. I've been getting your e-mails for a number of months and thought I'd go ahead and join. It will take me some time to get used to all the resources but I've taken a step in the right direction. I appreciate your passion for helping others.
Hi Deb, sorry about the late reply. I teach ESL, grades 9-12. I gave my students the DISC survey a while back and they liked it. Some guesses I had made about my students' personalities were confirmed while I was surprised at some others. Since, several of them are college-bound and looking into careers, I also mentioned to them how certain personalities are better suited for certain professions (something you had mentioned at the seminar). I think this facet is really good to communicate to the students so that they are better informed about various careers and so they can make better choices about what majors to choose in college.
OUTSTANDING JOB on the Webinar, Deb! I was scribbling notes....We're very familiar with the DISC survey but even still, your application of it with children was very insightful and helpful.
What a great tool to help parents!
Thanks so much!
Deb, he loves it. My wife's sister is interested in MyWiredStyle as well so I'll send her an invite to the community. Her name is Christa Bauman so keep an eye out for her. Blessings my friend.
Thanks for the ebook. I look forward to using the interesting ideas in the book - I am always on the lookout for new ideas for fun with my son. My son has just started school this year and is just getting into (English) football but also has a fascination with using my laptop!
Kind Regards
Simon

Thanks for your comments and your note Deb. My weeks are certainly interesting and fit right in with my high I low S style. I will check out the materials and look forward to participating in the community discussions. I will pass this community on to my Mom who has been working with DISC for the past 15 or 20 years in her business as well. She is also a psychologist and loves to share her experiences with these tools. Have a good day! Sean
Thanks so much for the warm welcome... I am excited for Andrew and also for my wedding... But for now I am staying focused on his ACT test scores, gaining all the knowledge on financial aid, comparing schools, etc for him.
At the same time am working to build my business with Mary Kay and being there for anyone interested in the products, learning skin care, and giving information on anyone wanting to be a consultant like me.
The wedding planning is going very well, we have saved alot of money by doing things on my own. I also found a discounted bridal gown and even with the few alterations I only spent $400. I am not cheap, just thrifty...lol
Thank you Deb - I will have to send the pdf onto my son and daughter in law as they live in TX - but I am sure I can use here - as well - and with my own daughter who is 18 - she has challenges -
I can also share this with those that do the Brain conference here every August - here is the link - to keep in mind for 2010 Brain Conference

Thanks for the warm welcome, Deb. I am excited to have been introduced to My Wired Style early on in Elijah's life. It will be wonderful to be armed with this information now, when he is three months old, as opposed to when he is thirteen and we are struggling to communicate...Not that there won't be struggles :) Thank you for all you do. Your website looks fabulous. Keep up the great work.
I am looking forward to providing your information to the parents of my high school students. It's always a struggle to get some parents involved, but being able to provide them with this additional support is so much better than calling home about behavioral problems and saying, "fix it."
